What to Look for in a Web design Company in 2019

Spread the love

So you’re looking for a web design company and don’t know which one you should choose.

Well in this post, I’ll be going over 3 things you should be looking for in a web design company,

Proven track record

You want a web design company that’s got a proven track record of positive feedback.

Ask yourself, is the customer actually satisfied with the work this company did?

Take a look at the websites, is the company actually telling the truth. One easy way you can find out is by scrolling to the bottom of the page and see if the web designs company’s name is on there.

This is common industry practice but if it’s not there, try to find some Google reviews.

SEO friendly

SEO is non-optional today. Your customers are going to be searching for you on Google and if you don’t show up on Google for industry related terms…

…you’re going to be missing out on a lot of customers.

One of the things you want to look for is website speed. Check out the previous websites they’ve created and check if they load fast. Speed will affect your rankings.

Make sure their designs come with easy to read font. This probably sounds silly but you’ll be shocked by the number of people who bounce from a website because the text is too small to read.

We’re incredible at SEO for our web design because we also run an SEO agency called ClickDo.

Are their previous sites designed for conversions?

So let’s say you’ve got the rankings and you’re getting people to your site. Are you actually converting them into leads and customers?

One of the things that’s going to dictate this is the functionality of the website.

Check out one of our previous clients, Lights & Sockets, they’ve got an incredibly well converting site.
