How We Brought an Immersive Brand Collaboration with Planetarium Go, Zip World London & London Business News Magazine to Life
At ClickDo, we constantly look for innovative ways to bridge high-impact digital marketing with real-world experiences. Our latest brand collaboration case study highlights exactly how we pull this off.
Led by our CMO and Editor-in-Chief of London Business News, Manuela Willbold, ClickDo Media recently spearheaded a major summer partnership with Planetarium Go and Zip World London at Stratford’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
As part of ClickDo’s bespoke branding and marketing services, Manuela manages experiential brand collaborations for our network of online magazines.
This project is a prime example of how we use media coverage and video content to bring an attraction’s unique offerings to life.
The Collaboration Highlights
The London Business News team (Editor in Chief Manuela Willbold and professional photographer Petra Eujane) headed down to the park to capture the full experience firsthand with their professional gear.
The campaign spotlights three main components that make this partnership a must-visit destination for July and August:
1. Immersive Space Education
Planetarium Go has introduced an educational dome featuring 20-to-30-minute films designed to inspire children and adults in science. The standout feature is their individual headset system—delivering immersive, magical audio that keeps young audiences completely locked in, which Manuela tested inside the dome. The selection of different space-related presentations and shows promises an entertaining learning experience for young and old.
2. High-Altitude Views Captured
The partnership leverages the breathtaking location by giving planetarium visitors access to Zip World London’s panoramic platform, offering 360-degree views of the London skyline from 80 meters high. The LBN Team captured effective photos and videos to share the viewing experience.
3. The Ultimate Thrill Trialled and Tested
To truly capture the high-energy nature of the attraction, the team documented the descent down the world’s longest and tallest tunnel slide—looping the ArcelorMittal Orbit sculpture 12 times at speeds up to 15 mph.
Free Community Events Effectively Highlighted
A core element of this marketing campaign is promoting community engagement. By conducting an interview with the Planetarium Go team on site, London Business News Magazine could exclusively share that on July 18th, Planetarium Go will host a free stargazing event right in front of the West Ham Stadium entrance. The activation features high-powered telescopes to view the moon, a massive inflatable moon selfie point, and science guides aimed at inspiring local families.
Elevating Brands Through ClickDo Media Services
By blending on-the-ground journalism, video and content marketing, and cross-platform publishing on londonbusinessnews.com, our team created a campaign that doesn’t just list features—it shares an emotional and community experience across the many social and streaming channels of the magazine with a combined audience of 10K+ London enthusiasts.
